Sundance Hills Equestrian Center (SHEC) is a full-service, family friendly boarding and training facility nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Bonsall, California.
It was once a dream of owner and manager Sara Krause-Whyte to have her own boarding facility where horse lovers could meet, ride together and mingle with others who shared the same passion as she did. Sara's dream finally became reality not too long ago, and her business has blossomed ever since.
SHEC proudly caters to both English & Western disciplines and we also offer a wide variety of stabling options so that horses and their owners can both be happy.
We also offer quality English & Western riding lessons, summer day camps, (for both beginner and advanced riders), and birthday parties.

SHEC would like to give a big warm welcome to our new students: Nick, Katie, Haley! We are so delighted that you are now a part of our riding academy, and cannot wait to teach you all many new and exciting things!
EVENTS
- Please check our TRAIL RIDES tab to see a list of the trail rides we will be doing during the month of May, and let Sara know if you want to reserve your spot.
- The two-day gymkhana in Warner Springs was a lot of fun! Everyone did very well, and we can't wait for the next two-day! Our next gymkhana will be held May 13th at LVR. Please let Sara know if you will be attending.
- Our next rail show will be held on May 20th at PVRA. Please let Sara know if you need to be trailered down there as space is limited being the show is in Poway.

WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME TRAINER VICKI SCHUMAN!
Vicki Schuman has joined Sundance Hills Equestrian Center with her horse Grande to help expand the already successful lesson program provided by Sara Krause. She brings over 50 years of experience in the areas of hunter/jumper and western pleasure horsemanship. She holds an AA double major degree in Liberal Arts and Equitation from Southern Seminary Junior College, a BS in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and an MA in Education from Central Michigan University. She also attended Waterstock Training Centre in Oxfordshire England to further expand her equine studies. She is very excited to be here and looking forward to meeting everyone!
